Our Story
In memory of Latte.
Born in memory of Latte, with roots in rescue — a home for dogs and the families who love them.
Latte's Landing was born in memory of Latte — one of our owner's first fosters, and a proud foster fail. She became the introducer dog for every foster that walked through their home's doors: a steady presence that told each new arrival, "you're safe now. You're home." Dogs naturally relaxed around her and learned, often for the first time, that life didn't have to be stressful — that it was okay to just be calm.
Every dog who came through our doors had a different personality and different needs — from dogs who needed hours of exercise to dogs who needed quiet reassurance, and even dogs who wouldn't go near a human at first but eventually grew comfortable meeting new people in public. All dogs have a story, just like all humans do. And that story matters — it's the foundation of truly tailored care.
We believe every dog deserves to have their story understood, and every family deserves to feel confident that the people caring for their family member will keep that story in mind.
That's the idea behind our mosaic logo — a reminder that every dog is made up of their own pieces, needs, and history. Our job is to see those pieces clearly and honor each dog's uniqueness.
Both Karin and Adrianna have owned and loved many dogs across their lives, and know first-hand how much it matters that a dog feels safe and comfortable in someone else's care. Since 2018, our team has also helped place many dogs into loving homes through Freedom Street Rescue and other New England rescues, and our grooming staff from Just Fur Paws brings 15+ years of hands-on experience with dogs of every breed and temperament.
We built Latte's Landing to be the kind of facility we'd actually feel good leaving our own dogs in — somewhere as comfortable as home, especially for overnight stays. Many owners hire in-home sitters when they can find someone they trust. That's not always easy. We're the place you can trust when you can't be there.
Every member of our staff is CPR, First Aid, and canine behavior trained. There are always at least two people onsite overnight. And throughout the day, you'll get photo updates and a report card so you can make sure your pup is safe. With an app (coming soon) and text capabilities you can check in with our team when needed!
And because the rescue community is in our DNA, 10% of all profit goes to rescue — every year, no exceptions. Fundraisers, adoption events, and partnerships with overwhelmed shelters are built into the calendar from day one.
What we're building
More than a daycare.
Giving back
A portion of our profits will support rescue efforts and shelters, and we'll run donation drives and fundraising initiatives for overwhelmed shelters and worthy causes throughout the year. We plan to partner with organizations and local veterinary resources to help provide low-cost vaccination, spay, and neuter clinics, plus educational opportunities for families. (coming soon)
Education & exposure
Too many children and families are unfamiliar or uncomfortable around dogs — particularly larger breeds. One of our owners is the proud owner of rescued English Mastiffs, we believe education, structure, safe exposure, and behavioral understanding are critical. We hope Latte's Landing becomes a place where families can safely learn about dogs, proper interactions, and responsible ownership.
A community corner
Inside our building you'll find a curated "community corner" supporting local makers and small businesses selling dog-related goods. We want this place to feel connected and supportive.
Bringing the building back to life
We're proud to be revitalizing a currently underutilized building at 430 Boston Rd (the old BATV building) through meaningful interior and exterior renovations, in partnership with many in the community.
The team
Built with people who know dogs.
Adrianna Shukla and Karin Mosca are the proud operators of Latte's Landing and Just Fur Paws. Adrianna brings 8 years of experience in rescue, and Karin brings 15+ years of experience in grooming — together, a foundation of operational know-how and deep, responsible animal care.
We're breed agnostic with no breed restrictions. Every dog joins through a temperament test before daycare, and a meet & greet before boarding — so every pup in the building is a safe, happy fit.

What we stand for
Trust
Safety, structure, and transparency in everything we do — from temperament testing to daily updates.
Compassion
Every dog and every family is met with patience, kindness, and respect.
Community
A place that gives back — to rescue, to local makers, and to the town we call home.
